Not really a “campout” our winter trips are indoor affairs, but in some really cool locations. Scheduled for the January Martin Luther King holiday weekend, we go far away — all the way to Alabama, Tennessee or South Carolina! Scouts get a chance to sleep and eat like the astronauts, or like a sailor aboard an aircraft carrier or battleship, or sleep along side the fish. We always have lots of fun goings-on during the weekend, so the scouts are never bored. The trips are always lots of fun and the scouts (and parents too) may even learn a thing or two. Space is usually limited, but as long as there is room, siblings are allowed to go too.
Past overnight Trips Have Included:
- NASA Space Camp, Huntsville AL
- USS Alabama, Mobile AL
- USS Yorktown, Charleston, SC
